Discovery of woman’s body leads to suspicious death investigation by OSBI

LEFLORE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a suspicious death in LeFlore County.

On Nov. 13, a woman’s body was found west of Wister, OSBI officials say.

The medical examiner identified the woman as 43-year-old Melissa Rocha, of Poteau.

Her cause and manner of death will be determined by the medical examiner.

The investigation is ongoing.
