While smartphones may be getting most of the attention, many companies still offer simplified cellphones that are specifically designed for seniors.

These basic cellphones come with big buttons and are easy to navigate.

One of the best is GreatCall's Jitterbug5.  It sells for $99 and calling plans start at $15 per month.

If you are looking for something a little cheaper, the Doro PhoneEasy 626 which is sold through Consumer Cellular.  The Doro 626 sells for $50 with service plans starting at $10 per month.  They even offer discounts to AARP members.

Another budget-friendly cellphone you might be interested in is the Snapfon, which only costs $10 with monthly service plans that start at $10.
