OU Softball Signee Named Gatorade National Player of the Year

Oklahoma signee Jayda Coleman was named the Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year on Wednesday. Coleman is a shortstop and pitcher at The Colony High School in the Colony, Texas, just outside Denton. Coleman was a three-time MaxPreps high school All-American and hit .702 for her high school career.
