The few residents still living at a troubled metro apartment complex said they’re struggling to find a new place to stay while the metro shelters are full and the waitlist for affordable housing continues to grow.

Tuesday was supposed to be moving day for residents living at the troubled Creekside Apartments in Southwest OKC.

Firefighters responded to a morning fire at a notorious southwest Oklahoma City apartment complex. Tenants of the Creekside Apartments told KFOR this is just one more problem to add to their long list of concerns.

A metro apartment complex that has been the scene of trash pile ups, backed up sewage and no air conditioning is now officially being addressed.

On Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Council deemed several units at the Creekside apartment complex unsafe and unsecured.

Oklahoma City’s Creekside Apartments is facing more problems. The complex is now in the middle of a possible foreclosure.

Troubling times are continuing at a metro apartment complex, as some tenants say they’ve been stuck without air conditioning for weeks in the heat. 

Belman said the plan is to have the hot water working again by Friday, April 22.

After weeks without hot water and enduring horrific plumbing and sewage problems, tenants at the Creekside Apartments in Oklahoma City are fed up.
