It’s been just over a month since Henryetta made national headlines for a murder-suicide that took the lives of five children and a mother.

McFadden shot six people to death before turning the weapon on himself, according to officials.

Seven bodies were found on a registered sex offender’s residence Monday afternoon. Loved ones of the deceased have identified all seven as the convicted sex offender, his wife, her children and two other teens.

Days after seven bodies were found with gunshots to the head in Okmulgee County, families of the victims are saying the legal system failed them. 

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has released a statement on the investigation into the Henryetta murder-suicide that left seven dead.

Convicted sex offender and suspect in the Henryetta murder-suicide asked a Pittsburg County Judge for a lesser sentence on his 2003 rape conviction.

It has been just over two weeks since a convicted sex offender is said to have murdered five children and his wife of less than a year. Search warrants are slowly being returned, now giving a possible motive for the killings, but also depicting false information.

The burning questions most people have asked: Where was Jesse McFadden’s probation officer? According to the State Department of Corrections, he wasn’t on probation, but he was required to check in with the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office every 90 days. A County Investigator compared those checks to playing darts.
