Adria Goins is proud to call Oklahoma home once again. She’s a graduate of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where she was a four-year starter and captain of the women’s soccer team. While in college she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mass Communications. Her time at NSU sparked her passion for journalism and sharing stories of her community.

Adria joins KFOR-TV as an anchor/reporter and adds years of experience to the team. She’s an EMMY nominated and Murrow award winning journalist. She was named 2019 Best Anchor by the Associated Press for Louisiana/Mississippi. She was named one of Shreveport-Bossier’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2017, and received the Golden Pelican award from the Louisiana Hospitals Association for her work sharing the success stories of the many children who benefit from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Adria comes to Oklahoma’s News 4 after spending 12 years at KSLA-TV in Shreveport, Louisiana. She began as a sports anchor before quickly moving up to Sports Director, where she covered the LSU Tigers. She followed the team to SEC Championship and National Championship appearances, even covering the Tigers undefeated season behind quarterback Joe Burrow in 2019. Adria made the switch to news when she was named Morning Anchor and Managing Editor, helping to wake up the Arklatex every morning for eight years.

Adria started her career at KFSM-TV in Fort Smith, Arkansas as a sports anchor/reporter covering the Arkansas Razorbacks and high school sports.  

Adria met her husband, Dallas – who grew up in Norman and is a die-hard Sooner fan – while attending NSU. They have two beautiful children, a boy and girl. In her free time she enjoying running, working out, playing soccer and baseball with her kids, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
