Chase Horn joined the KFOR team in April of 2019. He was born in Amarillo, Texas. Prior to News 4, Chase spent six months at the NBC affiliate, KAMR, in Amarillo. There, he was a MMJ reporter and fill-in anchor.

Chase graduated from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, with a degree in mass communications/broadcasting. He played football his first two years, but after a major injury decided it was time to hang up the cleats. Not long after that he accepted a new photographer position at KFDA in Amarillo.

In October of 2011 Chase moved to Midland, Texas to be a sports anchor/reporter at KWES. While in Midland he had the opportunity to cover Odessa Permian Football, in Friday Night Lights country, and AA baseball.

From Midland Chase made the jump to WHNT in Huntsville, Alabama to cover SEC football. After two years in Alabama as the weekend sports anchor he was promoted to Sports Director. While at Alabama Chase had the chance to cover four College Football National Championships, five other major bowl games, multiple Talladega NASCAR races, and the SEC baseball and basketball tournaments. He also had the chance to interview Pro Football Hall of Famers like John Stallworth and Jerome Bettis.

After almost five years in Alabama Chase decided it was time to move closer to home. He made the switch to news in Amarillo, now he’s excited for his new opportunity at KFOR!

When he’s not working you can find Chase at the ballpark, going for a run around Lake Hefner, or on the golf course.
