  • Lamb Chops Texas: Sooners Win Red River Showdown

The game hadn’t started but the fireworks did. A pregame scuffle broke out on the 50 yard line. Enough for the officials to throw flags and say that every player had been slapped with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. That meant that if one personal foul gets called, that player would be ejected. Horns down by a Sooner could result in a personal foul. As for the game, the Sooners were without Grant Calcaterra. No word on his absence. On the […]

  • The Boz Breaks Down the Red River Showdown

He might’ve hated Texas more than any other Sooner back in his hey day, but self-admittedly, Brian Bosworth has become a little more mild mannered in his older years. The Boz says he’s pretty chill about the Texas hatred these days. After all he does call Austin home. The OU Linebacker from 1984-1986 dropped by a Dr. Pepper Fansville event Friday afternoon. Bosworth plays the sheriff on those commercials and came dressed in full garb to the event. That didn’t […]

Despite there being little star power in OKC, that doesn’t mean the Thunder are folding on the season. Vegas projects the Thunder to win just over 30 games this season and miss the playoffs after the departures of Russell Westbrook and Paul George. Steven Adams doesn’t see it that way. Adams says it’s OKC’s “duty” to Oklahoma to play hard and work their tails off this season. No matter what the projections are for OKC this season. You can find […]
