Nick was born and raised in Merced, California. He moved to Oklahoma City in the spring of 2021 to follow a girl – a true love story in the making.
Before beginning with KFOR Oklahoma’s News 4 team, Nick worked with KFSM, the CBS affiliate in Northwest Arkansas and Fort Smith. He worked as a reporter covering breaking news and severe weather.
Nick spent a year and a half away from the news after leaving KFSM. He worked as a warehouse supervisor and delivery driver for the past year in OKC. Regaining a strong base of support, thanks to his girlfriend and her family, helped him get back into television.
Nick left his hometown of Merced to attend the University of Arkansas. He majored in broadcast journalism and minored in political science.
Nick has made Oklahoma City his new home.
Nick will be following the Oklahoma legislature after being named the KFOR News 4 Capitol Bureau Chief.
