(KFOR) — Taylor was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She moved to Oklahoma City in May of 2022 to continue her dream of telling and sharing important community stories that impact you every day.  

Before beginning with KFOR Oklahoma’s News 4 team, Taylor worked with KFDA Newschannel 10, the CBS affiliate in the Texas Panhandle in Amarillo, TX. She was the weekend anchor and morning reporter. Some of Taylor’s duties included reporting, anchoring, digital content duties, managing staff and producing shows. 

She also was a permanent guest Monday through Friday on Amarillo’s morning talk show, The Chat, where she updated the community on traffic, local and national stories and new content every single day. 

She graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelors degree in mass media with an emphasis in TV Production. She also minored in film studies. 

While in college, she interned at her school news station, TV10 News, where she was nominated for an Emmy Award in November 2019 on a segment called “Bites of Blono.” 

Taylor also interned at Chicago’s entertainment news station, CW26 for “The Jam TV Show.” 

When not at the news station, Taylor loves working out, hanging with friends and cheering on the Chicago Cubs baseball team!
