Edmond, Okla.-Winter Night is a family fun event mixing holiday fun with fire prevention safety.

Sparky, the fire safety wonder dog will be on site, kids can build toys in Santa's workshop, Santa will be there to take pictures, winter tales, hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes.

Folks have a chance to sign up for a free smoke detector as well.

Winter Night is from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Children's Safety Village which is adjacent to Fire State #5 in Edmond on Covell, just east of I-35.

The Hope Center will also be accepting non perishable food items to help local residents in need this Holiday.
