Oklahoma City, Okla.-A new style of education is challenging kids to be active in the classroom with the goal to increase attention spans and decrease hat feeling of being restless.
The nationwide program is called “Action Based Learning Labs” and Schools for Healthy Lifestyles has brought this program to seven lucky schools in the metro, including Willow Brook Elementary in Northeast Oklahoma City.
The goal is to teach kids subjects like math, while keeping them moving at the same time, helping to improve attention and shake off the fidgets.
