OKLAHOMA CITY – The “Walk a Mile In My Shoes” event promotes awareness and response to the needs of the thousands of Oklahoma children who are in foster care, and you can be a part of it this weekend.

Ladonna Wolfe with Citizens Caring For Children and Brondalyn Coleman stopped by Rise and Shine to talk with us about the event.

You can "Walk a Mile" this Saturday, June 20th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Bricktown Ball Park.
