There are more accessible transportation options for bicycle enthusiasts in the metro.

EMBARK has re-launched their Spokies bike share program, with a new station right outside Elemental Coffee near 8th & Hudson.

The program is sponsored by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Oklahoma, which also encourages folks to exercise at least 30 minutes a day.

If you’re a member, you can get a 20% discount off of a yearly Spokies pass.

The program has also teamed up with Rocktown Youth to maintain the bikes, where students get credit for a character education class, learning to repair and maintain bikes, but also developing discipline and teamwork skills.
