OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — People gathered on Saturday in Oklahoma City to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Fiestas de las Americas.

The annual festival and parade is a way to bring people together from all over the great Oklahoma City area to enjoy and preserve Hispanic culture.

One participant said it was amazing to see so many people gathered together for one cause.

Organizers say around 15,000 people were in attendance.
