CUSTER COUNTY, Okla. – A 13-year-old girl is recovering after being hurt in a boating accident on Foss Lake, which is in Custer County in west-central Oklahoma.
Authorities say the girl was with her family when she jumped off the platform and tried to land on a tube behind the boat.
According to investigators, she missed the tube and was struck by the boat’s propeller.
The girl was flown to OU Medical Center in serious condition.
