14-year-old in grave condition after double shooting that left one man dead

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say a teenager remains hospitalized in grave condition after a double shooting that left one man dead.

Around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to the 3100 block of S. Shartel on reports of an assault.

When officers arrived, they found 45-year-old Pedro Banuelas and a 14-year-old juvenile inside of the residence.

Both were critically injured.

Banuelas was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The teenage victim remains hospitalized in grave condition, police say.

At this time, it is unclear who attacked the victims or what motivated the assault.
