2-year-old battling cancer asking for cards for Valentine’s Day

LOS ANGELES - The family of a 2-year-old boy who is battling cancer is asking for the public's help making his third birthday special.

After Aiden Kramer's second birthday, things became difficult.

His family says Aiden suffered two broken arms, his left eye began to droop and was experiencing pain in his hands and arms.

They took him to several doctors and two hospitals before he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

The toddler underwent additional tests, surgery and several rounds of chemotherapy in the past several months.

His last chemo treatment was Friday, but KTLA reports that he will stay in the hospital for the next few weeks, including his third birthday.

Since Aiden won't be able to be home for his birthday, his family is asking for birthday and Valentine's Day cards, since his birthday falls on Feb. 14.
