3.3 magnitude earthquake recorded near Quinton

QUINTON, Okla. (KFOR) – Residents in one Oklahoma community may have felt the ground rattle on Monday morning.

Around 11:09 a.m. on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 3.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded near the town of Quinton.

Officials say the epicenter was located about 3.3 miles east of Quinton, and 28.6 miles east/northeast of Woodward.

There have been no reports of any damage.
