EDMOND, Okla. – An early morning earthquake near Edmond, Okla. may have jolted some folks out of bed Monday.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, an earthquake was reported about 6 miles north of Edmond.

The quake may have been the alarm clock for some residents.

That’s because it happened at 7:24 a.m.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.4, according to the U.S.G.S.
