OKLAHOMA CITY – Residents in northwest Oklahoma City were evacuated from their homes following a three-alarm fire at an apartment complex early Tuesday morning.

Officials were called to the Heritage Park apartment complex, located near N.W. 122nd St. and Pennsylvania Ave.

When crews arrived on scene, there were flames shooting from the roof, reaching 40 feet into the air.

At least two people were injured during the fire.

One of those victims was taken to a local hospital in critical condition after suffering smoke inhalation.

After firefighters were able to put the blaze out, residents were allowed back into their homes.

The fire is not being considered suspicious but authorities have not determined an exact cause of the blaze.
