3-year-old dies after dental procedure

HAWAII – A little girl who was left brain dead after being sedated during a dental procedure has died.

3-year-old Finley Boyle died Friday night at a hospice near her home in Hawaii.

On December 3rd, she went to a dentist to have four root canals and ten teeth cavities filled.

Finley stopped breathing after reportedly receiving the maximum dose of five different drugs.

She had brain damaged and the family decided against keeping her alive on a ventilator.

The Boyle family has filed a lawsuit against the dentist.
