FORT HOOD, Texas- Army and emergency services are still searching today for the 4 soldiers who remain missing after their military vehicle was swept over yesterday by the surging waters of Owl Creek, following heavy flooding.

5 soldiers have been confirmed dead. Three others have been rescued and are being hospitalized, but listed in stable condition.

Maj. Gen. John Uberti stated the army would be offering counseling to soldiers, family, and friends affected by the incident.

This is the third in a string of tragedies for the U.S. military yesterday following the death of a Blue Angel fighter pilot in Tennessee and the crashing of an Air Force jet in Colorado.
