LAHORE, Pakistan (NBC) – Family members of a 9-month-old who is charged with attempted murder say the child has gone into hiding.

Last week, officials say 9-month-old Moosa Khan was booked into jail for his alleged “involvement” in an assassination attempt on police.

Police accused the baby of stoning their colleagues somewhere in the city.

The child appeared in a court with his grandfather, where he was granted an interim bail.

According to CNN, an officer has been suspended after filing a report against the boy, claiming he played a role in an attempted assassination plot.

Now, officials have suspended the officer for registering a case against the boy.

Khan’s next hearing is scheduled for April 12.
