A fireworks display at a Texas school explodes and kills one person

COMANCHE, Tex. – One person is dead after a fireworks display under construction exploded in central Texas.

It happened Thursday morning near the Comanche High School baseball field.

A spokesperson for the Comanche County Medical Center says three people were treated for burns and then released and one person has been transferred to a burn unit.

The Kiwanas Club puts on a 4th of July show at the high school every year.
