OKLAHOMA CITY - A pair of sisters are hoping to find a home in the country to call their own.

Ten-year-old Andrea and 11-year-old Alexis have been in DHS custody for the past two years.

Before they were in the custody of the state, they remember spending their time riding horses.

In fact, Alexis used to perform in rodeos.

"Yeah, she would ride around the barrels," Andrea said.

They love country music and spending time outdoors with each other.

When asked about their perfect home, they said it would be on a farm in the country with a lot of horses.

Mainly, they said they want to be together.

"We used to see each other every week, but now we don't,” Alexis said.

They're hoping to one day be adopted, so they can live together again.
