OKLAHOMA CITY - This teen's caregivers say she is very talented and always keeps her room clean.

Alazia loves sports and is involved in volleyball, softball and basketball.

She has been under DHS custody since she was just a toddler and she's ready to find a permanent home.

"I think I'm unique. I'm different from everyone else. I think I just do my own thing. I don't follow other people so I think I'm a leader. Not a follower," Alazia said.

Alazia, 13, wants a future that feeds her strongest attribute.

"I'm going to be a teacher."

A middle school teacher to be specific.

"I understand like bullying. What they're going through," Alazia said.

She says she's never been bullied, but she's seen it and wants to help those cope through their struggles.

She loves shopping.

It's one of the first things she wants to do with her future mom.

She also loves getting made up.

"This is my natural look, but usually I have it braided. I had this mohawk with a big thing on the side of it. It was cute."

Alazia really hasn't ever had a home.

Since she was four she's moved around to group homes and foster homes.

"I got used to it. Just like transitioning to new places. It's easy for me now."

She said it can be difficult sometimes though.

"Just being in a different environment after I've been somewhere a long time," Alazia said.

Alazia was confident about what she wants in a family.

Something we take for granted every day.

"Trust, honesty, happiness and just someone who will be there for me."
