BRAMPTON, England – For the past six months, residents of a small town in England have been keeping a close eye on their vehicles.

Police say several cars over the months were vandalized, left with punctured tires.

Citizens were so frustrated by the attacks, some even installed security cameras.

According to the Cumbria Constabulary, that video helped them solve the case.

Officials say a border collie named ‘Jess’ was using her daily walk to bite the tires of cars she came across.

They say the bites caused a slow puncture and residents would come outside to find a flat tire.

PC Simon Amos said, “The dog had been seen approaching the cars and many believe that she was just sniffing at the tires. It isn’t until you take a closer look, that you can see her biting the tires.  The owner has been contacted and has been very surprised and also apologetic about the whole situation.”

The dog’s owner says Jess will now be kept on a leash and he has started to pay back the damage the dog caused.

According to the BBC, Jess was run over by a car and has since been exacting her revenge.
