Alleged thief facing several charges after stealing $5.25

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man is facing several charges after he allegedly stole $5 from a car wash.

Offices were called to a car wash in the 3600 block of S. Pennsylvania Ave. after a security guard spotted a man breaking into vending machines.

When police arrived, they found a man riding his bike away from the car wash.

Authorities stopped 32-year-old Humberto Franklin and found him with a pair of pliers and $5.25 worth of quarters.

Franklin is now facing charges of second-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools and destruction of property.
