Update: Oklahoma baby found, suspect wanted after Amber Alert issued

ADA, Okla. – An Oklahoma baby has been found and is in protective custody after an An Amber Alert was issued.

The child abduction was reported around 5 p.m. on Monday 3 miles east of Ada.

Police said the baby is 14-day-old Charlotte Ruiz, an Indian female.

Charlotte was last seen wearing a light pink onesie with a heart on the front.

Police said the suspect is 33-year-old Santiago Ruiz, a Latino male with brown eyes and long, dark hair.

Santiago was last seen wearing a brown shirt and shorts.

He has a tattoo of the word “outlaw” on his left leg and numerous tattoos on both arms.

Police said Santiago was driving a white extended cab Chevy pickup with Cheyenne Arapaho tag 016011.

They said he became violent, threw the mother out of the vehicle and made threats to kill both himself and the victim.

Santiago is believed to en route to Longdale and under the influence of narcotics.

He is still outstanding and wanted for child stealing.
