OKLAHOMA CITY - Police are searching for a pair of thieves responsible for a pair of armed robberies this week.

Investigators are now releasing surveillance video hoping to catch the crooks.

The dangerous duo robbed two different Family Dollar stores within an hour of each other Monday night.

One of the witnesses says it was absolutely the scariest moment of her life.

"I honestly thought he was going to kill us," said the witness. "I couldn't believe it was going on right in front of me."

That victim asked not to be identified, but she'd been shopping Monday night at the Family Dollar on SE 44th when the armed thieves struck and began threatening clerk and customers alike.

"He pulled out this gun and cocked it and said give me the money b****. You're going to die tonight," recalled the witness. "And then he looked at me and said you're going to die too b****."

The foul-mouthed suspect snatched money from that woman's purse before running out of the store.

Surveillance video shows the other robbery near 23rd and MLK.

One of the crooks pretends to want to buy something while his partner in crime comes around the counter and begins grabbing money from the register.

The clerk wisely stepped back to avoid getting hurt.

"These guys are certainly armed and dangerous and we want to get them identified so we can get them off the streets," said Oklahoma City police MSgt. Gary Knight.

"I hope they do catch em," said the witness. "I've never been so scared in all my life."

The suspects did not hurt anyone during either stickup.

Anyone with information on the men seen in the video is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (405)235-7300.
