At least one child injured in metro 4th of July celebrations

OKLAHOMA CITY–Many enjoyed the 4th of July celebrations from professional firework displays to shooting off fireworks themselves. However, some of those festivities resulted in injuries.

EMSA reports four related injuries in the metro area.

Paramedics transported four patients, from separate incidents to local hospitals, three (3) of the patients in serious condition.

The injuries ranged from burns to the face and traumatic injuries to the face and extremities.  At least one injury involved a child.
