YUKON, Okla. — Get ready, Caniacs! The Raising Cane’s in Yukon is set to open this Thursday, June 18.
The restaurant’s grand opening will mark the 11th store to open in the Oklahoma City market and the 16th overall in the Sooner State.
The new location will be at 1127 Garth Brooks Blvd., and will open at 9:30 a.m. with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring the Yukon Chamber of Commerce.
Doors will open to the public at 10 a.m.
To add to opening day excitement, the first 10 paying dine-in customers, ages 13 and older, will receive free Cane’s chicken for a year! Then first 100 paying dine-in customers, ages 13 and older, will receive a free Cane’s Yukon T-shirt and a voucher for a free Box Combo that can be redeemed at the next visit.
“Raising Cane’s loves Oklahoma and it’s cool to know that Oklahoma loves us back,” said General Manager Preshini Laughlin. “My crewmembers and I can’t wait to open our doors, because we know the area is full of Caniacs
Raising Cane’s will also present a check for $1,000 to Pets & People, a no-kill humane society that rescues adoptable cats and dogs from across Oklahoma on the day they are to be euthanized.
“Because pet welfare is one of Raising Cane’s five areas of community focus, we want to encourage our customers to join us in supporting Pets & People by offering a free ‘goodie bag’ for the first 50 pet adoptions made at the humane society after our opening,” said Laughlin.
The Yukon location is also expected to support Yukon High School and Mustang High School during the upcoming school year.
