DUNCAN, Okla. – Authorities believe the Irish Mob gang has infiltrated the Stephens County area.
Law enforcement is searching for someone they believe is a member of the Irish Mob gang.
The suspect is believed to be behind a violent home invasion that took place in February, KSWO reports.
Grainy surveillance images show a suspect who reportedly robbed a family at gunpoint.
The suspect allegedly zip-tied and pistol whipped one of the victims.
Stephens County Sheriff Wayne McKinney says the man in the photos goes by “The Collector” or “The Enforcer.”
He is reportedly the man the Irish Mob unleashes when people do not pay their drug debts.
“A lot of times, the victims don’t make it through that or the victims get life-threatening type injuries,” Sheriff McKinney explained.
Sheriff McKinney says the Irish Mob started in the prison system and is associated with the Aryan Nation.
Authorities believe the man in the surveillance photos is part of the Irish Mob because of the clothes he was wearing.
“All these mob members identify themselves with a certain type of tattoos, clover leaf or certain things that refer to an Irish descent. It’s a way to identify themselves with other gang members and the people they deal with. It’s kind of like a military or police officer wearing a uniform, it obviously has a much different meaning,” Sheriff McKinney said.
The suspect was wearing a t-shirt that showed a clover marked flag and a Guinness hat displaying a shamrock.
He even tied his victims with green zip ties, KSWO reports.
The sheriff believes the Irish Mob gang is responsible for multiple crimes in the area.
“We are currently working several cases that we know the Irish Mob is connected to directly,” Sheriff McKinney said.
According to KSWO, the suspect is believed to be from the Oklahoma City or Tulsa area.
If you have any information on the suspect, please let the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office know.
