STEPHENS COUNTY, Okla. — After 14 days of searching, authorities have found a body that they believe belongs to 8-year-old Damion Alexander Davidson.

Davidson, who has autism, went missing sometime after 2 a.m. from his home on June 12th.

It was storming that morning and his parents told authorities they believe he left the house because he likes thunderstorms.

They say they found two beanbags pushed up against the front door that morning.

Duncan received a lot of flooding that morning, and authorities say Davidson couldn’t swim.

Officials with the Duncan Police Department say they believe they found his body, but they will need positive identification from the state.

In a Facebook post, the Duncan Police Department thanks the hundreds of volunteers from around the community who helped with search efforts.
