STILLWATER, Okla. - A Stillwater neighborhood is in shock after one person was killed and another arrested after being spotted with a machete.

People living in the neighborhood say it's typically quiet with kids running around, now it's the backdrop of a murder scene.

"It was kind of odd seeing all the cop cars here and not really knowing what was going on," Tyler Maley, a neighbor said.

Police are keeping quiet about the details, but neighbors are talking.

Police have reported multiple people called to say they spotted a man holding some sort of weapon near the neighborhood.

Police say they arrested that man and moments later found another man lifeless in the 400 block of Oakdale.

Neighbors say it's odd.

"It's nothing common in our neighborhood or in the city or in the county," Marek said.

"It is kind of nerve wracking that it`s down the street and not even a block way," Maley says.

A man on scene who said he was the landlord of where the murder happened told News Channel 4 two twin brothers live together there.

He said they are both freshmen at OSU.

Stillwater Police say they will release more information Thursday morning.
