Update: Standoff with man who threatens to “blow everyone up” comes to a peaceful end

UPDATE:  Authorities say the standoff with the suspect has come to a peaceful end.

EARLSBORO, Okla. – Police in Pottawatomie County are currently involved in a standoff with an Earlsboro man.

Around 12 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office were called to a domestic call at a house near Hwy 9 in Earlsboro.

When officers arrived, they say the suspect ran into the garage and yelled that he would “blow everyone up.”

A short time later, deputies say the man fired a shot out the window of the garage.

Authorities say it is not a hostage situation and there are no known injuries at this time.
