Authorities respond to multi-vehicle wreck on Turner Turnpike

OKLAHOMA CO., Okla. - Multiple agencies responded to a multi-vehicle wreck the Turner Turnpike near Luther around 7 p.m. on Thursday.

The initial report came in as at least 20 vehicles involved in a wreck on the turnpike, but authorities have since confirmed four vehicles and one semi-truck are involved.

The accident occured in the eastbound lanes between Luther and Wellston and narrowed the highway to one lane.

OKCFD, Oklahoma Co. Sheriff's Office, Lincoln Co. Sheriff's Office, Luther Fire Department, and Midwest City EMS all responded to the incident.

Authorities had to pull one woman from her car. She and several others were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
