Authorities searching for bank robber in South OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities are searching for a suspect who robbed a MidFirst Bank near I-240 and Western.

OKCPD received a call of an armed robber around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night.

Authorities say the suspect approached the counter and demanded money from the bank employees via note, received an undisclosed amount of money, and fled the bank heading south on foot. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a male in his late 20s to early 30s.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black beanie and a black puffy jacket with a white sweatshirt underneath.

The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
