Authorities searching for man who allegedly burglarized Oklahoma deputy’s home

OKLAHOMA CITY – A sheriff’s deputy says he was targeted by a thief recently while he was at work.

On Nov. 7, officers were called to a home in the 7400 block of N.W. 7th St. after receiving a call from a security alarm company.

When police arrived, they found the front door open and the back door was kicked in.

The homeowner, who is a Grady County Sheriff’s deputy, arrived and immediately checked to make sure that all of his weapons and law enforcement equipment was still there.

According to the police report, the only thing missing from the home was a 55-inch flat screen television.

Officials were able to obtain surveillance photos of the alleged suspect, who is described as a young black man. he was wearing a purple athletic suit, black and white high top basketball shoes and a powder blue stocking cap.
