Canadian singer Avril Lavigne released her first single in two years in tribute to the 2015 Special Olympics World Games to be held in Los Angeles this summer.

The song is called “Fly” and the video will touch your heart. The music video shows athletes with disabilities from all over the world competing on behalf of their country, and for a chance to be accepted.

“This song means a lot to me personally,” Lavigne said in a press release. “It is inspired by the many young people I’ve met throughout my work with my foundation. They pursue their dreams no matter what obstacles they face.”

Lavigne recently overcame a massive struggle with Lyme disease.
