Wednesday is 26 years in the making for Back to the Future fans!
After a series of social media hoaxes, it’s finally time for the real deal.
While flying Delorians and hoverboards might not really be hovering above our city streets, the movie did get a few things right.
For instance, flying cars are extremely rare, but a few do exist.
Powerlaces in the movie are shoes that tie themselves automatically.
Now a company called Powerlace claims to have the same technology, but say they’re just waiting on financing to develop the high-tech footware.
Pepsi has recreated 6,500 bottles of its “Pepsi Perfect,” as featured in the movie, complete with a straw built into the lid.
The company sold them for $20.15, to commemorate the year 2015.
And perhaps the movie’s biggest prediction yet…Will the Cubs really win the World Series?
We’ll find out in the days ahead!
