SHOREHAM, N.Y. - The search for a missing New York teenager has come to an end after a body was discovered on Wednesday morning.

Authorities say 14-year-old Nickolas Donnelly was last seen inside his Long Island home on Tuesday morning.

Family members say he left to go for a run around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, but never returned home.

Investigators say Donnelly did not have a cell phone with him at the time of his disappearance.

According to WPIX, a body was discovered in a wooded area near his home on Wednesday morning.

That body was ultimately identified as Donnelly.

Police say his cause of death appears to be 'non-criminal.'
