LEXINGTON, Okla. — There is sad news to report this afternoon about the death of a Lexington, Oklahoma boy who personified bravery.
Several times in the last few years NewsChannel 4 told you about Xander Moore’s fight against a deadly form of cancer; Neuroblastoma.
Last night Xander passed away at his home in Lexington.
This is video is of Xander last year when he received an official Chicago Cubs baseball bat.
He loved the Cubs and he was also an honorary Lexington police officer because he dreamed one day of wearing the badge.
Xander and his family have touched so many lives and he had the most amazing smile.
He also shared his art-work here on NewsChannel 4 that was sold to raise money to fight cancer.
Xander fought cancer for most of his life and enjoyed some periods of remission.
He is survived by his mom and dad and three siblings. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them today.
