CHICAGO, Ill. — The Miami Heat took on the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night, hoping to extend their winning streak to 28 games.

But, it wasn’t meant to be.

The Heat were down with one minute to play and were unable to spark a late rally to keep the streak alive.

The Bulls beat Miami 101 to 97.

The streak ends at 27 games, six games shot of the record set by the Lakers back in the early 1970s.

LeBron James efforted 32 points in the loss.
