PRYOR, Okla. – More than a dozen people were injured early Thursday when a bus was rear-ended on Highway 69 just south of Pryor.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the bus was carrying 40 Mexican nationals when it stopped at a railroad crossing around 3:20 a.m.  Officials say it was then hit from behind by a semi truck.

The truck’s driver was taken by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition.

Fourteen passengers on the bus were transported by EMS to Tulsa hospitals for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, troopers say there are no reported fatalities involved in the crash.
