MALIBU, Calif. – Charges may be filed for a car accident that claimed the life of a one woman earlier this year.
A misdemeanor manslaughter charge usually results in one year in jail.
On Feb. 7, Jenner was driving along the Pacific Coast Highway when her Escalade hit another car, causing a chain-reaction crash.
Officials say Kim Howe’s Lexus rear-ended a Toyota Prius on the highway. At that point, Jenner’s Escalade rear-ended Howe’s car, which pushed it into oncoming traffic.
Howe died from her injuries at the scene.
Authorities say Jenner was not speeding, but was driving at a speed that was considered unsafe for the road conditions.
Experts say there is a “50/50” chance that Jenner will be charged.
