YUKON, Okla. —  The Canadian County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery, burglary, and shooting with intent to kill.

On March 22, 2016, Damon Brandon Caldwell, 41, got into a physical altercation with a victim at the homeowner’s house north of Yukon.

Caldwell fired multiple gunshots from a silver semi-automatic .380 pistol at the victim, chasing the victim around the neighborhood, deputies said.

Caldwell also broke into the victim’s home and stole his truck at gunpoint.  He fled the scene.

Moments later, El Reno police began pursuit. The chase ended when Caldwell crashed in a wooded area of northwest El Reno. A search for him was unsuccessful.

Investigators said he previously assumed a man’s identity from Pryor, Oklahoma.

Caldwell has a previous criminal history including an arrest warrant issued September 2015 from Tulsa County for manslaughter, pointing a firearm and robbery with a firearm. The bond for those charges is set at $850,000.

He also has multiple convictions for assault and battery on a police officer and assault and battery on detention officers.

Caldwell was last seen with a full beard. He has poor vision. Deputies believe him to be a member of the Irish Mob.
