GALVESTON, Texas (CNN)– An embattled ship that caused chaos for passengers trapped at sea is ready to set sail again.
The Carnival Triumph docked in Galveston, Texas this week to prepare for its first voyage.
Carnival did millions of dollars worth of repairs to the Triumph after a fire in the engine room shut down power and water to the ship.
Thousands of passengers were stranded at sea for days without hot food, lights or working toilets.
Officials with the company say Triumph’s first two cruises are already sold out.
