NORMAN, Okla. – Carrie Underwood has just been added to the already stellar lineup for Toby Keith’s tornado relief concert.

Underwood will perform via satellite because of a previously scheduled show in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tickets for Toby Keith’s Oklahoma Twister Relief concert sold out in less than an hour last Friday.

Sammy Hagar, Mel Tillis and John Anderson have joined the already outstanding list including Keith, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Trisha Yearwood and Ronnie Dunn.

Organizers said 100 percent of ticket proceeds will go to benefit the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund to aid recovery efforts.

The twister relief show is Saturday, July 6 at the University of Oklahoma’s Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman.

“When Toby asked me to come on board, I immediately said ‘Yes,‘” Sammy Hagar said. “He’s put together a hell of a concert lineup to help raise funds for the brave and resilient people of Oklahoma. My job is going to be to help them take their minds off their problems and have some much-needed, good old-fashioned fun.”

For Keith, this event and the May storms that led to it are deeply personal.

“I grew up in Moore, I live in Norman and I’ve got lots of family and friends who were directly affected,” he said. “I know these folks and they’re resilient but we’re going to keep helping them any way we can.”

“Once we got the news that the tornado had hit Toby’s hometown, Miss Yearwood and I told Toby we were at his service for whatever he chose to do,” Garth Brooks said. “I am amazed at the human spirit the tornado victims have shown. I am humbled by the giving of the volunteers. It is an honor to get to be a part of this healing process.”
